The ventilated facades have been increasingly used in the construction industry lately. One of the most represented is a stone ventilated facade which is among more complex ones. The natural stone of 3 cm (and more) thick is used as a finishing revetment but lately, thanks to the aluminum substructure, a stone of 2 cm of thickness is also used. The ventilated stone facades have got a numerous advantages over classical ones:

As the panels are not directly connected to the building construction itself they are also having the role of protecting it

Between the stone revetment and the thermal insulation there is an air space that allows airflow. Thus provides quick drying of the stone revetment which prevents the appearance of stains and moisture as well as condensation on the revetment

Ventilated facades allow certain installations (such as rainy, air conditioning and lightning protection installation) to be installed under the stone panels

To install the stone ventilated facades, SZTR "Mozaik" firm uses aluminum sub-structure type ”Tabash” which allows the setting of even 2 cm thickstone at a distance of more than 25 cm from the construction of the building.
